Amanda found her love for riding when she was 14 as a Hunter. Soon after, she moved to the Rio Grande Valley where she competed in Hunters and eventually moved to Jumpers. She won both state and zone championships through children/adult jumpers and even qualified for Young Riders in 1995. Amanda transitioned her career to training students on a local south Texas and state level.
In 2010, Amanda moved to the Spring/Woodlands area to raise a family. She never stopped riding though, training her own personal horse and currently teaching lesson students at Woodway Equestrian. She loves the family-friendly atmosphere at Woodway, the quality of care for horses and is looking forward to sharing her years of expertise.
