Kathy found her love for horses as a child in Ohio, where she began as a working student of top Hunter/Jumper trainers.

Over the last few years, Kathy has held numerous positions in a variety of industries. For fifteen years, Kathy managed a medical collection agency before moving on to manage the marketing and sales department of a mutual funds company. Kathy has also worked for the nonprofit health organization, CHRISTUS Health, where she oversaw the client services department and organzied community outreach projects.

In addition to working in both private and nonprofit sectors, Kathy has experience managing departments at a local newspapers such as: Houston Community Newspapers, The Houston Chronicle and The Greensheet. Bringing all of this experience together has allowed Kathy to successfully run Woodway Equestrian Center as its acting Executive Director.
